The history of the DHB-Pokal

It all began with the final match for the very first DHB Cup, which was played on 9 May 1975 between TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen and TSV 1896 Rintheim in Minden, East Westphalia. The first title in the history of the DHB-Pokal went to the team from TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen, who won by 15-14 goals.
